Release Notes for August 27th, 2026

The following improvements and bug fixes have been released. Review the changes below to learn what’s new and what has been resolved.

LA Improvements and Bug Fixes:

  • New Dispatch – Several improvements have been made to the Quick Edit experience in Dispatch to prevent accidental data overwrites and provide better feedback when updating trips:
    1. Driver Schedule Conflict Warning – When assigning a driver who has a scheduling conflict, operators will now see a warning before saving the trip.
    2. Only Changed Fields Are Updated – Quick Edit now saves only the fields that were actually modified, helping prevent unintentional overwrites when multiple dispatchers are working on the same trip.
Independent Save Actions – Trip updates and attention flag dismissals now work independently, so each action only triggers the necessary update.
    3. Fixed an issue where trips with empty notes could not be saved.
    4. Fixed an issue where the Update Trip button remained enabled after a user reverted their changes.
    5. Reduced unnecessary updates by preventing unchanged trip information from being resubmitted during a save.
  • LA – Previously, if a customer edited an existing reservation on ORES and updated the Other Comments or Special Requests field, the original notes remained visible after saving, even though the customer had entered new text. This has been fixed now.
  • LA – Fixed an issue affecting LA Net farmed-out reservations where the executing affiliate’s Rental Agreement could be removed after the originating affiliate updated the reservation.
  • LA – There was an issue affecting Print Individual Trip Tickets from the Reservation Manifest.
Previously, the Rental Agreement was displayed on each Driver Trip Sheet even when:
Company Preferences → Forms, Reports → Hide Rental Agreement on Driver Trip Sheets was set to Yes.

    With this fix:
    – When the setting is Yes, the Rental Agreement is not displayed on Individual Trip Tickets.
    – When the setting is No, the Rental Agreement is displayed when one exists.

This behavior now applies to the Reservation Manifest in both Detailed View and Summary View.
