New Feature: Request a Card

Now available exclusively for LA Pay Gateway users, Request a Card feature makes it easier for customers to securely provide their payment details.

How It Works:

Similar to Request a Payment, this new feature allows you to receive a secure email link where you can enter your credit card details.

The system will verify your card with a $1 authorization (immediately voided) and securely save it for future use, based on your selected preferences.

When sending out the email to the customer, you will also have an option to “Save Card on Account for Future Use”, allowing the card to be saved on the account that is on the reservation.

This option is not available for guest trips and will only save the card on the reservation.

Email Enhancements:

When a Request a Card email is sent, it includes a secure link leading to a simple form where customers can add their credit card details.

Once submitted, the card will be verified and securely stored on their account.

Scheduled Messaging Enhancements

To improve communication, we’ve introduced additional tools for scheduled SMS and email notifications:

New Tags for Payment Requests :

#CARDREQUESTACCOUNT# – Securely add a card to the account.

#CARDREQUESTTRIP# – Link the card to a specific trip.

#CARDREQUESTINVOICE# – Attach your card to an invoice for easy payment.

Additionally, we have introduced new Triggers for Scheduled Messages.

You will now have the option to send out Scheduled Emails and SMS messages based on the following:

Payment Status – Will send the Scheduled Email if the Payment Status on the trip is Unpaid, Paid or Collect.

Payment Method – Will send the Scheduled Email based on the Payment Method selected on the reservation.

Additionally, there is now a trigger to send out a scheduled Email or SMS. It is called “Send if Credit Card on the Trip is NOT preselected”, which will send the scheduled message if there is no card selected or present on the reservation. By default, this option is set to “Not Selected”, and can be changed to YES or NO.

Partner Network Enhancements

For those using partner networks, we’ve added a Partner Notes section to reservations, which ensures smooth communication when coordinating trips.

These notes will help facilitate seamless operations between your partners, while keeping internal communications clear and organized.

Limo Anywhere Mobile App (DMA) Updates

For a better mobile experience, we’ve improved how routing details are displayed within the Limo Anywhere Mobile App:

‘Wait’ Addresses Now Visible: If a trip includes waiting points, these will now be displayed accurately in the routing details.

We’re committed to continually improving your experience with Limo Anywhere. If you have any questions about these updates, feel free to reach out to our support team!
